Step
1
Mark the location
of your UFENCE with a snap line.
At the location
of your first post, drive a t-post into the ground 12" to
18".
Step
2
Cut the UFENCE
post to the desired length using a standard wood-cutting saw.
Note the UFENCE
post is designed to fit securely over the t-post in an interior
channel (highlighted in this photo in yellow)
Step
3
Set the UFENCE
post on the t-post by sliding the t-post into the t-post slot.
Repeat steps
1 through 3 for each UFENCE post.
Step
4
Cut a t-slot
spacer to support the lowest horizontal UFENCE rail--its length
should be equal to the distance from the ground to the bottom of
your first horizontal UFENCE rail.
Slide the t-slot
spacer into the slot.
Step
5
Secure the t-slot
spacer in place using glue or fasteners.
Step
6
Cut the lower
horizontal UFENCE rail to the desired length (allow 2" at each
end to extend into the UFENCE posts).
Punch knock-outs
at each end of the horizontal rail using a knock-out tool. The knock-outs
will hold the rails securely in place in the UFENCE posts (see photo
in step 7).
Step
7
Slide the lower
horizontal rail into the slot in the UFENCE post, coming to rest
on top of the lower t-slot spacer.
Step
8
Repeat steps
4 through 7 for the remaining horizontal UFENCE rails.
Cement (or use
fasteners) to attach the top of the post.
Step
9
Step back and
admire your work! You have just installed a UFENCE in 50% to 70%
of the time you might have spent installing another fence system.
Congratulations!
