SLAB SAVER - On Duty to Protect Concrete Floors

Benefits
SLAB SAVER is a great way to protect concrete floors when tilting up poured walls. SLAB SAVER is made from rigid, durable PVC and will not scratch valuable new floors. It is easy to install along the bottom edge of a poured wall.

  • Eliminates Repair Time to Floors - SLAB SAVER saves your floors from any damage. Crews using Slab Saver won't spend valuable time and money repairing damaged floors.

  • Improved Quality - Crews using the Slab Saver can walk away from solid finished floors with pride.

  • Easy to Install - SLAB SAVER is set into the form prior to pouring the wall. After the concrete has set, the SLAB SAVER stays in place along the lower edge of the wall to protect floors from damage.

Installation

  1. Select 24" lengths of Slab Saver.

  2. Set the Slab Savers into the form; there should be one slab saver at each end. If the wall is over 20 feet, place one slab saver in the center of the wall. Add one additional Slab Saver for each additional 20 feet.

  3. Pour concrete normally. Normal vibration of the concrete insures concrete will correctly surround the Slab Saver.

  4. Slab Saver stays with the wall--there's no need to remove it .
