Installation

  1. Fasten the base clip to the casting surface with fasteners, tape or adhesive.
  2. Press one end of the bulkhead interlocking tooth grip into the end of the base clip.
  3. Press the entire length of the bulkhead into the base clip.
  4. Check to insure that the interlocking grips are fully engaged and the chamfer seal is pressed firmly against the casting surface.
  5. Using a 1" board, apply pressure down over the PVC bulkhead, working from one end to the other until it locks into position. This creates a tight friction fit with the wood, preventing it from rising during the pour No nailing is necessary.

**No Form Coat or Bond Breaker is necessary

Accessories: Additional base clips are available in 12 foot lengths for the reuse of these products

Weight: Bulkhead = 0.292 lbs/ft. Base Clip = 0.076 lbs/ft

Coefficient of Linear Expansion: .0132 inches per degree F

Storage
If reuse is intended, it is important that all concrete residual be removed from the plastic to prevent sticking on future pours. Materials should be stored out of direct sunlight to prevent long-term deterioration or color fading. Pieces can be stacked, but should be stored fully supported to keep them from warping.
