K-FORM is the invention of Peter Jaycock, a
sixteen-year veteran of the construction industry and director of a
successful equipment rental firm in the United Kingdom. Peter had
the idea for a disposable formwork system in the 1990's while
undertaking several agricultural concreting contracts
"I examined the
whole process, and quickly
concluded that a disposable alternative to traditional steel formwork
would make a significant difference to time, cost and labour
requirements," Peter explains. "I then designed a prototype, allowed
expansion and also easy sealing, two features that save more time and
money."
Since then, K-FORM cast in
place screed rails have been in use in the UK for over ten years. Now,
Victory Bear Products is the exclusive manufacturer of
K-FORM for the North American construction market.
K-FORM by Victory Bear is the PVC screed rail that
stays
in place once the concrete has been placed. With a built-in expansion
joint and a removable void cap, K-FORM's easy-to-use design is
patented.
